Kansas City, Mo. – The Spurgeon Knights (0-4-0) set out to get their first win of the season against Central Christian College of the Bible (3-1-0) Monday night. The game went to down to the wire, but the Knight came up short. Final score was 75-81.
 
How it Happened

• CCCB was led by Rodrigo Nunez with 21 pts and 7 boards. The entire team shot 50% from the field and only had 3 total turnovers.

 

• For the Knights, it was a rough night of shooting, but mid-way through the second half managed to climb back within 2 of the lead. Jude Warren attempted a 3 pointer at the 6:34 mark of the second half to go up by 1 but came up just short. The team was led in pts and rebounds by Jude Warren and Jamie Juncal had 19pts.

 
Next Time Out
The Knights will hit the road for the next few games but will be back on December 2 at home playing against Faith Baptist Bible College at 5pm.
