Jude Warren Reaches 1,000 Point!  

On Nov. 11th, the Knights basketball team had their first game and first win of the season against Central Christian College of the Bible. Though the whole team played excellently, one player clearly showed his quality and achievement. 

Jude Warren has been an integral part of the basketball team since he came to Spurgeon College. On Nov. 11th, he went into the game 29 points away from the 1,000-point milestone. Jude made 46 points (17 points over his milestone) in the 127-105 win against the regional opponent. He finished the game with a triple-double, tallying 10 assists and 14 rebounds. Jude is the first player in Spurgeon College history to surpass the 1,000-point mark. His skill and performance have been recognized by Spurgeon fans for years, and this achievement was another opportunity to celebrate his hard work. Jude was honored at the first home game against Ozark Christian College, where he continued his hot start to the season with 23 points, 11 assists, and 12 rebounds. Well done, Jude!
