The first set started with Randall putting the Knights on the defensive. However, as the set drew on, the Lady Knights rallied. Spurgeon struggled to close the gap with a determined push. Despite a valiant effort, including strong plays by Lizzie Deaton, Timry Goodman, and Janie Wilson, Randall narrowly took the first set.
 
The second set saw the two teams locked in a fierce back-and-forth exchange. Spurgeon, led by the strong offensive efforts of Lizzie Deaton, matched Randall point for point, but the latter managed to edge out the former in the end.
 
The third set closely mirrored the previous one, with both teams committed to giving their best. Despite a few errors on both sides, Randall managed to clinch the set and the match. But the spirit and tenacity shown by Spurgeon were truly commendable.

• Lizzie Deaton and Janie Wilson were the leading attackers for Spurgeon, contributing most of the team's points. Deaton had 18 kills and a service ace while Wilson took 7 kills and 3 service aces.
