He graduated from Concord First Assembly High School where he played soccer for four years and in 2017, he won All-Conference and All-State.

Josiah was born August 30, 2000, to Jon and Kristen Sherrill. Kannapolis, North Carolina and is pursuing a B.A. Intercultural Studies.
