In 2023, The Spurgeon College Men's Basketball coaching staff announced Kaden Huck as an assistant coach for the 2023-2024 season. "I am very excited to join Spurgeon College’s Men’s basketball staff and be a part of a great College like Spurgeon. I believe the basketball program is ready to make a big jump this season and continue on the path to improvement." Huck continues "I wanted to be a part of the culture here and help contribute in any way possible. I'm excited to build relationships here and invest into the lives of the players, student body, faculty, and staff."
Prior to serving Spurgeon College as the Men’s Basketball assistant coach, Huck served as a team captain for Barclay College in his college career. In his senior campaign, Huck Started at guard, while averaging 9.4 PPG, 3.7 RPG, and 1.1 APG.
"We are thrilled to add Kaden to our staff," said head coach Billy Livezey, "He is passionate about the game of basketball and making an impact for Christ on our student-athletes. He fits the mission of the Institution, as well as our basketball program, and I think he is going to be a great addition." The Knights look to build on last season's success and make the leap toward competing for a Central Region Championship in 2023-2024.
Kaden Huck is entering his second season as the Assistant Men's Basketball Coach and Head Coach of the Reserve Basketball team at Spurgeon College for the 2024-2025 season. Residing in Kansas City, MO, Kaden is dedicated to developing players and contributing to the growth of the basketball program.
