Kansas City, MO – The Spurgeon Knights women's volleyball team took on the Ozark Christian College Ambassadors on September 2^nd in their second home game of the season.

The first set stayed very close all the way to the end. The two teams were going back and forth, but neither team was able to get a clear lead. At the end of the set, the Knights were able to take the lead and win the first set of the night with a kill by Mollie Singleton.

The second set did not go as well for the Knights. The Ambassadors quickly took the lead, and despite a great comeback from the Knights, the Ambassadors were able to win the set.

The Knights then came back ready for the rest of the game and didn't let the Ambassadors take the lead. The Knights were able to shut down the Ambassador's offense and kept breaking through the Ambassador's defense. The Knights went on the win both sets securing their second home victory of the season.

The Knights will play again on September 13^th against Calvary University.
