Game Recap: Men's Basketball |

Men's Basketball Cruise to 6 in a Row with Dominant Performance

Kansas City, MO - On Tuesday night, the Spurgeon Knights took on Barclay College in an NCCAA Southwest Regional matchup. The Knights achieved a commanding 40-point victory in a 121-81 point contest. With this victory, the Knights have now secured four straight Southwest region wins as they look forward to their last regional matchups with Manhattan Christian College and Kansas Christian College.

Sophomore Drew Middleton led all Knights scoring 29 points and shooting 9-15 from behind the arc. Jude Warren followed suit with 27 points and led the Knights as a distributor with 7 assists.

Commenting on the team's success during this 6-game winning streak, Head Men's Basketball Coach Billy Livezey said, "Really proud of how these men have responded. I challenged some guys a while back to lead well and they're more than answering the call. This team has accomplished so much this season and surprised a lot of teams in our region. I don't know a more fun team to watch right now in all of college basketball. I enjoyed tonight's game as a fan and had a great seat during it. We have three very difficult regular season games left and they're going to mean a lot for seeding heading into our regional postseason tournament." The Knights are preparing for their next home matchup against Faith Baptist Bible College on February 11th as they look to extend their winning streak to 7.
