Summary:
The Knights faced Central Christian College on Saturday, February 10th. Even though the Knights quickly took the lead, their opponents kept them on their toes. Despite the challenges and frustrations of injuries and fouls on both sides demonstrating the pace of the game, the Knights kept up their courage to another home win.
How it Happened:

Malikih Gillum got the first two points for the Knights in the first seconds of the game. Central Christian followed right behind them with their first layup. Even though the Knights took the lead rapidly, the game maintained a high competitiveness.

The fast pace and fouls should have been tiring, but the Knights kept up the momentum. At halftime, they were ahead 63-37.

The second half continued in the same measure. Despite the pressure, the Knights kept moving forward and maintained their lead.

As the game was coming closer to the end, Malikih Gillum raced down the court to take a shot and was yanked forward by one of the opposing players. The Spurgeon fans watched worriedly as the Knights' captain was taken off the court due to his injury. To everyone's surprise, Gillum returned to the game after a few minutes.

After this, the game rested clearly in the Knights' hands. The fans relaxed and cheered as the Knights' long-time players Sam Erickson and Cameron Weeks, joined the game.

Invigorated by their captain's show of dedication and teamwork, the Knights finished 117-84.

Drew Middleton and Jude Warren tied in number of points, both making 24. They were followed by DJ Middleton (19) and Malikih Gillum (17). Drew Middleton also had the most three-pointers (6).

In addition to offensive stats, Jude Warren led in defense with 11 rebounds and 6 steals. He also made 12 assists. Another well-rounded and excellent game from #11!
