Spurgeon College closed the regular season with another strong performance on Tuesday night, defeating Manhattan Christian 96 to 85 at Howie's Activity Center and officially securing the Regular Season Championship for the second year in a row.
With the win, the Knights completed an undefeated run through regular season play, continuing a standard of consistency and winning that has defined the program across back to back championship seasons.

The matchup opened with a fast pace and plenty of energy, and Manhattan Christian kept it close early. Spurgeon carried a slim 51 to 49 lead into halftime, then took control after the break by tightening up defensively and making key plays on both ends.
Manhattan Christian was held to 36 points in the second half as the Knights built separation through strong rebounding, timely stops, and efficient scoring in crucial moments. Spurgeon pushed the lead to as many as 11 and stayed composed down the stretch to finish the job on the road.
