Men’s Basketball Remains Undefeated with home win over FLBC

Box Score Kansas City, MO - The Knights started off slow but were able to turn things around in the second half this Saturday against Free Lutheran Bible College, winning 94-47.
 
When asked about the game coach Livezey noted, "We didn't get off to the start we were hoping for today, but we responded as a team well. We are a young group, so it was good to see us handle a little adversity today." Malikih Gillum was a key contributor to the second-half success scoring 12 points and helping organize the team defensively.
 
The knights gave up 31 points in the first half but turned things around in the second half holding FLBC to only 16 points. On the first-half effort coach Livezey lamented, "we must hold ourselves to a higher standard in how we defend." However, coach recognized the first half as a "valuable lesson" for the team.
 
With a 4-0 start to the season, coach knows that the team has not met its ultimate goal. He explained, "we have a lot to work on and I am excited to continue to progress as a team in the early stages of this season." The Knights are at home next and take on Randall University this Monday at 7 PM.
