Spurgeon College is pleased to announce that
Jared Dean has been named the full-time head coach of the Spurgeon Knights men's soccer program.
Coach Dean moves into the role after serving as interim head coach this past season, where he led the Knights to their first postseason win in men's soccer program history. His leadership and ability to guide the team on and off the pitch played a key role in the program's growth.
Athletic Director Logan Stutz shared his support for the decision, saying,
"Jared did a tremendous job last season and absolutely deserves to continue as the full-time head coach of Spurgeon's men's soccer program. He's not only led the team to a postseason win but has shown how he will continue to build the program through men of character on and off the pitch. I am excited to see the growth of the soccer program under his leadership."
Jared Dean has been part of the men's soccer program since its beginning, serving as a player, assistant coach, and now head coach.
"I am very excited and truly grateful for this opportunity," Dean said. "I love this school and this program, and I look forward to continuing to see the Lord's work here."
With strong relationships already built and a clear vision for the future, Coach Dean is focused on recruiting, developing young men of character, and continuing the momentum of Spurgeon men's soccer.
